Paige Bueckers is ready to move on from college to the WNBA. The versatile UConn star is the odds-on favorite to become the No. 1 overall pick by the Dallas Wings when the league holds its annual draft at The Shed in New York on Monday night.

UConn star Paige Bueckers signed a three-year deal with the 3-on-3 league Unrivaled one night before the WNBA Draft. Bueckers, the expected number one overall pick in the WNBA Draft, will make more in her first year in the Unrivaled league than in her first four years in the WNBA.

Paige Bueckers made sure to get one last appearance as a member of the UConn women’s basketball team before turning pro. The projected No. 1 overall pick traveled to Hartford for the Huskies’ national championship victory parade and rally a day before the 2025 WNBA Draft takes place in New York City.
