South Metro Fire Rescue said a vehicle and an RTD light rain train collided on the tracks near C-470 and I-25 in Lone Tree.

A train crashed into a car because the signaller forgot to close the level crossing to traffic, an inquiry has found. The car driver was hurt as their vehicle was dragged along the tracks near Redcar Central station on 1 May 2024, although Network Rail initially said no-one was injured.

LONE TREE, Colo. — One person is dead after a crash involving a car and an RTD light rail train early Tuesday morning. Crews with South Metro Fire Rescue responded to the light rail station near 10200 Station Way in Lone Tree for a report of a crash involving a train, South Metro Fire posted on the social platform X.

When officers arrived, they found a man lying on the ground and the man’s shoes lying under a train car on the tracks.

The Atlantic City line train hit a car at the Pomona Road crossing at 8:19 p.m., NJ Transit said. There were 33 passengers and crew members aboard the train 4639, which was en route from Philadelphia to Atlantic City. The vehicle was unoccupied. Galloway police couldn’t immediately be reached for information.

The Rosenberg Railroad Museum is tripling the number of cars that visitors can explore. The museum recently acquired four new pieces of rolling stock and is in the process of installing them on the grounds. GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP — A Ventnor man escaped injury Tuesday night after his car was struck by a train when he made a wrong turn onto a set of railroad tracks, police said.

Train services around Aberdeen have been disrupted after a car crashed into a stone wall above railway tracks. Network Rail said the line between Aberdeen and Dyce had to be closed at about 21:00 on Saturday, while police sealed off the area at Donbank Terrace.
