The Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department is currently on the scene of a working fire in the Cave Spring area. Crews responded to the area of Kentland and Bower and are advising residents to avoid the intersection until further notice.

Drivers are asked to avoid the intersection of Bower Road and Kentland Drive in the Cave Spring area as crews respond to a working house fire.

Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department are on the scene of the Mount Chestnut Road area for a brush fire and electrical wire down on Wednesday. Around 4:30 a.m., multiple units arrived in the Back Creek area of Roanoke County finding a fire being fueled by dry and windy conditions.
