UNC men's basketball head coach Hubert Davis confirmed he would be increasing the size of his coaching staff beginning next season.

Davis, on his weekly radio show, stresses need for additional support staff to help him concentrate more on his primary job: coaching the team.

Davis also receives an annual expense allowance of $50,000 to be used for entertainment and “other appropriate purposes to advance the program,” $500,000 annually as part of North Carolina’s multimedia rights agreement with Learfield Communications and $250,000 per year from the school’s deal with Nike.
