According to a report from WrestleVotes during a Q&A (via Ringside News), Netflix gave WWE the reigns when it comes to the production of the show, allowing them to censor what they want. Fans were irate after the RAW broadcast would go to black during certain moments of Punk and Rollins' Steel Cage match.

To simplify, though, Netflix has access to several key live events that are, for now, essentially in two buckets. Those buckets also include vault items that are often restricted to the location of the live events . Special Live events like Wrestlemania, SmackDown, and NXT (Available in most international territories but notably excludes the US)
