By David French (Reuters) -Wall Street benchmarks ended in mixed fashion on Tuesday after a topsy-turvy session, as investors were caught in limbo ahead of the impending tariff announcements from the Trump administration.

Financial markets around the world have been particularly shaky lately because of all the uncertainty around what Trump will announce in the event scheduled to begin after the U.S. stock market closes for the day.
