Interstate 10 in the Baton Rouge metro area reopened to both eastbound and westbound traffic Thursday afternoon, the Department of Transportation and Development announced.

The storm blanketed south Louisiana with 4 to 8 inches of snow, with a few areas experiencing up to 12 inches. Temperatures reached as low as the single digits.

The Lafayette area’s median rent of $982 dropped 0.4% from a year ago and was the only state metro reporting a drop out of six surveyed.
