Stereoscopic 3D glasses that are used with "active 3D" computers and TVs. The glasses use liquid crystal lenses that act as shutters, alternately opening and closing the view to the screen.
Ceiling-mounted projectors use radio signals rather than IR (see RF shutter glasses). By supporting 120 frames per second (fps), active 3D glasses deliver the full resolution at 60 fps to both eyes.
