On February 24, VGC and IGN reported that physical copies of Assassin’s Creed Shadows had somehow leaked out into the wild, and people have since bought the game early and started playing it.

We’re still a month out from the Assassin’s Creed Shadows launch on March 20, but an X user by the name of Danny Stevens has spent the last day or so sharing impressions, images, and gameplay clips from a physical PlayStation 5 copy of the game that they were somehow able to acquire online.
