In the heart of Bend, Oregon, where the Cascade Mountains stand sentinel and the Deschutes River flows, there’s a sandwich shop that’s causing quite the commotion among locals and visitors alike.

The Soul Platter Cafe will be serving lunch items from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on May 3 for in-house seating or take-out at 28 E. Scribner Ave.
