The Gophers were an entirely different team Saturday than they were in a 5-1 Friday loss, taking it to their hosts from the opening puck drop.

Matthew Wood scored in the third period to force overtime before the No. 3 Golden Gophers fell to Notre Dame in a Big Ten Conference men's hockey matchup Saturday evening inside 3M Arena at Mariucci.

The 'sellout' does not include the secondary market and it's only based on the tickets sold by the school, so it's worth taking with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, it will be a big series for the Gophers against an ailing Notre Dame squad.
