Lady Gaga is returning to Rio de Janeiro for a concert seven years after having to cancel her performance at Rock in Rio after being hospitalized in Brazil for "severe physical pain."

The Grammy winner revealed her return to Rio, Brazil, after years with a massive free concert at Copacabana Beach on May 3, 2025. The announcement was made on February 21, 2025, by the singer, disclosing her return to Rio for the first time since 2012.

Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Pop star Lady Gaga is set to perform in Brazil. The singer, 38, shared a social media post about "Mayhem on the Beach," her upcoming show in Rio de Janeiro, on Friday. "I've been dying to come perform for you for years and was heartbroken when I had to cancel years ago because I was hospitalized," she added.

The third single and music video from the singer’s highly anticipated album premiered during a Grammy Awards commercial break.

Fans have already been able to listen to singles “Die With a Smile,” “Disease” and her Super Bowl-launched “Abracadabra."
