UPDATE AT 12:56 P.M.: Power was restored in the Potlatch-Palouse area at about 9:30 a.m. Monday after an outage that started about 4½ hours earlier, according to an Avista Utilities spokesperson.
PALOUSE, Wash. - Nearly 3,000 people in the Palouse and Garfield area are currently without power. Avista has reported the outage and is working to restore electricity to the affected residents.
