Mexico will deliver more water to Texas as part of a border agreement, which will help farmers in the Rio Grande Valley.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that Mexico would send more water to Texas in an effort to ease rising tensions over a long-standing water treaty.

President Trump said in a social media post that he would impose tariffs and sanctions on Mexico if it does not comply with a treaty from 1944 to provide water to South Texas.
