The New York Mets signed outfielder Juan Soto to a 15-year, $765 million deal during the offseason. A lot of Mets fans were excited when they signed him, knowing that they would be getting another superstar caliber player on the team.

On Thursday, Soto went 0-for-3 in the Mets' win over the St. Louis Cardinals, his second straight game without a hit. He hasn't been booed by the Citi Field crowd, but there's palpable angst when he strikes out or hits into a double play.

“Soto is a great team player. He worries about having good at-bats for the team,” Lindor told NJ Advance Media. “The truth is that nobody took what he said in any negative way. He’s one of the best players in the game, and all he wants to do is win games.
