A four-piece indie band, the lead singer of which is from Colne, has been chosen to p the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival.

In a statement Ezra Collective, who were first played on BBC Radio 6 in 2016, said it was a "deep honour" to headline the festival after that "precious moment". Each of the festival's three headline performers will take to the stage with their support acts at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.
