Rain pounded down throughout the Bay Area on Thursday, causing freeways to flood and Santa Cruz residents to evacuate because of heavy rains and rising water.
The parks will be closed from Wednesday evening to at least Saturday morning. The Santa Cruz Wharf will also close on Friday.
