The DNR's annual vehicle admission pass design contest is open, and high-school artists have until April 30 to submit their best work. Passes purchased anytime in 2026 will bear the winner's artwork.

The system, rolled out in 2021, requires visitors to purchase in advance a $2 vehicle entry ticket in addition to the standard $35 park entry pass to enter certain places.
