Another blast of Arctic air is heading into Northeast this weekend, bringing coldest temps of season so far coupled with dangerously cold wind chills

Lows Tuesday morning were in the 20s and lows Wednesday are expected to be in the 30s, an improvement but it's still cold. North Texas should see highs rebound into the 60s on Thursday and Friday, but it's short-lived.

Traffic is expected to be impacted along major highways, with northern Colorado towns even more likely to experience bitter cold conditions.

Chilly temperatures are likely to hold on through Monday before warming back up.

The work week started off with temperatures in the 20s to low 30s across Dallas-Fort Worth but abundant sunshine is on the way with a few clouds.The high temperature will remain below average due to cold air that spilled into North Texas on Sunday.

North Texas will enjoy a mild Thursday with highs near 59 degrees, but brace for a major chill with possible snow as an Arctic cold front arrives Friday night.
