Sergei Bobrovsky stopped all 19 shots he faced to lead the Florida Panthers to a 2-0 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday in Game 2 of their first-round Stanley Cup playoffs series at Amalie Arena.

Nate Schmidt scored his third goal in two games, Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 19 shots and the Florida Panthers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0 to take a 2-0 lead in the first-round playoff series.

Any time Tampa came in with a quick rush or slick play near the net, Bobrovsky stood tall, plugging all holes and making sure nothing cheap would get by. The few times Florida allowed Tampa a grade-A chance, Bobrovsky didn’t flinch, no matter how big of a moment it was.
