Intuitive Machines' lunar lander is set to begin its voyage to the moon Wednesday night with a launch from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.

SpaceX will launch Intuitive Machine’s Athena lunar lander toward the moon’s south pole on Wednesday, marking the latest mission by Intuitive Machine to explore the moon’s surface after completing the first-ever lunar landing by a private company last year.

Intuitive Machines is "ready to go" with its second moon landing mission, a company executive said on Wednesday, a day ahead of the scheduled launch of its lunar lander.
