The Los Angeles Lakers have had a bit of a roller coaster ride this season. They started out as one of the best teams in the entire league after a 10-4 start. JJ Redick was getting a lot of praise for how he was starting out his coaching career.

The Lakers won despite getting no points and only 7 minutes from Anthony Davis, who exited early with an ankle injury. Austin Reaves stepped up, recording a 26-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist triple-double that included scoring the game-winner with just a second to go.

While the Los Angeles Lakers would love to acquire a win-now asset during the trade season, they may have to be content with landing a project with massive potential. A promising 6-foot-7 NBA champion could be on the Lakers’ radar this year.
