Los Angeles Lakers trade rumors suggest the team is unlikely to pursue a third star before the February 6 deadline.

On a recent episode of 'Brian Windhorst and the Hoop Collective', Tim MacMahon of ESPN listed a few teams that he has heard could be landing spots for Fox if he were to ask out. Among them were the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets.

L.A. has a pair of first-round picks available to send in one deal: 2029 and '31. It can also move its 2030 first-rounder in a separate deal, ESPN's Bobby Marks outlined earlier this year. The Lakers can also include a slew of pick swaps to sweeten a potential trade package.
