Giraffe escapes enclosure, delaying opening of Reid Park Zoo
The unexpected morning adventure happened just before 9 a.m., prior to the zoo's regular opening hours. Rather than panicking or straying far, the young giraffe named Msituni stayed in one location, exploring her surroundings and helping herself to a nearby mesquite tree.
