Tessa Blanchard's first TNA match in almost five years drew chants of "She's a racist" on Sunday's Genesis 2025 pay-per-view. Blanchard, who rejoined TNA in December after being dismissed under a cloud of controversy in 2020, defeated the seemingly outgoing Jordynne Grace in a well-worked, 20-minute match at Genesis.

Jordynne Grace has reportedly wrapped up her contractual obligations with TNA Wrestling and its believed she's wrestled her final match with the company. The three-time Knockouts World Champion put Tessa Blanchard over at TNA Genesis in what was a specular final performance for Grace.

This was Tessa's first match in TNA Wrestling since the April 7, 2020 episode of TNA iMPACT! Blanchard was the reigning TNA World Champion at the time she parted ways with the promotion. She returned at TNA Final Resolution, attacking Grace.

Having returned to TNA Wrestling at the Final Resolution PPV back in December, there's no somewhat of an update on Tessa Blanchard 's contract status with the Anthem promotion.

The former Impact World Champion made her shocking return at Final Resolution by attacking Jordynne Grace, who gets her chance at revenge on January 19th.

Tessa Blanchard returned to TNA Wrestling and defeated Jordynne Grace in their Grudge Match at TNA Genesis 2025. Blanchard beat Grace in a 20-minute contest during Sunday night’s pay-per-view event, clinching the win with a bulldog maneuver that sent Grace crashing onto an exposed turnbuckle.

Grace ends her run with the company (and seems likely to head to WWE) as a ‘Forever’ Knockouts champ with whipped cream on her mug.

Tessa Blanchard had a great match with at TNA Genesis, but the controversial chants from the crowd might have been something TNA wanted to avoid.
