LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - Lynchburg’s Liberty University will play a role in this weekend’s inauguration festivities for President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee notified the Virginia Military Institute (VMI), that due to weather and the movement of the events indoors, VMI would not be participating in the inaugural events this year.
