The Boston Celtics almost made a monumental move to trade one of their franchise cornerstones for Kevin Durant.
“There was a lot of mutual interest between Kevin Durant and the Celtics in the summer of '22 when he asked for a trade (from the Nets) and (Boston) offered Jaylen Brown … Derrick White … (and) a first-round pick,” Charania said.
Brown has been dealing with a nagging knee injury. It's something that he has had to deal with for most of the season. While Brown has been able to manage it so far, he is on the injury report ahead of this game against the Heat. He is listed as questionable due to right knee posterior impingement. He will play in this game.
As his pain-filled regular season winds down, Jaylen Brown has a plan in place to get healthy for the playoffs.
