Hundreds of people turned out to oppose the development of a hotel on Paris Mountain in northwestern South Carolina.

One&Only, a collection of luxury resorts and private homes, is headed for Dutchess County. A new resort is planned for 2028.

The Inn at Altamont is a proposed luxury hotel that would serve up to 150 guests and feature rooftop amenities.
