MONA is also affiliated with modern, luxurious cabins along the Derwent River, near the museum. Each cabin is designed for either two or four people and features work from Australian artists.

The Derwent Pencil Museum is home to the world's longest colour pencil. The art studio allows visitors to pretend they are a crew member of a pirate ship or to pretend they have joined the circus.
