Jordan Henderson has agreed to leave Ajax after 18 months at the club to join Ligue 1 outfit Monaco. The move will come as a shock to many in England after being appointed Ajax captain during his time in the Netherlands.

By moving to Saudi Arabia, the midfielder played under former teammate and Reds legend Steven Gerrard, and was also reunited with ex-Liverpool teammate Georginio Wijnaldum.
