Parker Posey has said the cast of The White Lotus were “always going to hospital “ in Thailand. The actor, who plays Victoria Ratliff on the hit series, told The Sunday Times Style magazine that she fell ill after eating some dodgy fish, which also left her co-star, Sam Nivola, 21, poorly.

HBO's White Lotus has once again taken the world by storm as the third season of the hit show follows a group of travelers visiting a high-end hotel in Thailand. And it sounds like the cast enjoyed their stay in Thailand – even their hospital visits.

In a new interview about the show with The Times, Parker described the process of making The White Lotus season three as an “endurance test” – thanks, mainly, to the high temperatures, as well as the snakes and critters the actors would occasionally come face-to-face with.
