Residents in the area of Kramer Drive are still not able to return to their homes Monday morning after a gas leak and house explosion Sunday afternoon.

The final residents got the green light to return to their Chestnut Street homes late Tuesday night.

CLARKSBURG, W.Va (WDTV) - A home has been destroyed by an explosion in Clarksburg. Witnesses told 5 News that, without warning, an explosion levelled the home and shook much of the surrounding neighborhood. It is not yet clear if anyone was injured in the blast.

One person was killed and another is believed to be missing following a house explosion in the Kilgore area of Clark County.

Two nights after being evacuated for a gas leak and house explosion that killed one person, some Clarksburg residents have still not been able to return home.
