Amazon Web Services and the venture capital firm General Catalyst launched a new multiyear agreement on Monday, marking their latest attempt to gain a share of the expanding artificial intelligence market in the healthcare industry.

General Catalyst’s portfolio companies, starting with Aidoc and Commure, will use AWS’ services to build new artificial intelligence solutions.

General Catalyst portfolio companies Commure and Aidoc will be a part of the initial collaboration between AWS and the venture capital firm. Aidoc, which has developed clinical AI solutions in radiology, and Commure, which has developed AI to automate clinical workflows, will integrate their solutions with AWS's AI and data capabilities.
