After dominating the awards season, it seems FX/Hulu’s Shōgun might be getting a Season 2 after originally being billed as a limited series. The historical drama made its small-screen debut in February 2024,

The FX/Hulu series about feudal Japan beat out other favorites including Netflix's "Squid Game" and "The Diplomat"

Shōgun and Emilia Pérez swept categories at the 82nd Golden Globes. Shōgun won the most awards on the TV side of things with four, including best drama series and acting wins for Hiroyuki Sanada, Anna Sawai and Tadanobu Asano.
