The Hawks have a tough schedule ahead as they charge toward the NBA All-Star break. But that schedule looks a little tougher with the potential long-term absence of forward Jalen Johnson.

Johnson had missed five straight games earlier this month due to right shoulder inflammation, but it was an injury to his other shoulder that forced him out of Thursday's contest early in the second quarter.

Jalen Hurts officially is on track to play in Sunday's NFC Championship Game. The Eagles quarterback returned to full participation in Thursday's practice after limited work Wednesday. Hurts injured his left knee during last Sunday’s divisional round win over the Rams but never came out of the game.

The Hawks’ Jalen Johnson will not return to Thursday’s game against the Raptors at State Farm Arena. Johnson exited the game 1:10 into the second quarter after injuring his left shoulder. Johnson moved into position to block Scottie Barnes’ attempt at the rim.
