I tried to hate the iPhone 16e, but I couldn’t
Despite my initial skepticism, I ended up feeling positively about the new iPhone 16e and why it may be a lucrative option, especially for first-time iPhone buys.

The iPhone 16E is Apple's rumored low-cost iPhone that's being announced as soon as Wednesday, February 19. Modeled after the iPhone 14, the iPhone 6E is expected to feature an all-display design with Face ID, which means Apple plans to eliminate Touch ID.
The iPhone 16E is now available for preorder.
It starts at $599 and includes the company’s A18 chip and support for Apple Intelligence. The iPhone 16E also has Apple’s first 5G modem, the C1, instead of a Qualcomm chip. It ships on February 28th.
