The South Korean government has said it will conduct a safety inspection of all Boeing 737-800 aircraft used by domestic airlines after the Jeju Air crash on Sunday, and another plane fault on Monday morning, according to a local news source.

South Korea's acting President directed an urgent safety inspection of the nation's entire airline operating system.

A widely used Boeing aircraft, the 737-800, was involved in Sunday’s crash-landing of a Jeju Air flight that killed 179 people.
