Universal Pictures' social media confirmed that Christopher Nolan’s is working on an adaptation of "The Odyssey" that will bring "Homer’s foundational Saga to IMAX film screens for the first time."

Markoe also revealed that the camera displays will also show frame lines for the native 1.43:1 IMAX film format and also IMAX 1.90:1 (used for all IMAX digital screens) and standard 2.40:1. Of course other aspect ratios are available and the display can be set up lines for whatever ratio is preferred.

Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson and Anne Hathaway are among the cast for the director’s take on the epic poem.

Nolan is also behind epic films including “Inception,” “The Dark Knight,” “Dunkirk” and his most recent film “Oppenheimer,” which scored big at last year’s Oscars when it took home the trophy for best picture. Nolan won that award as a producer, and also took home the Academy Award for best director.
