Walgreens plans to close 1,200 stores over three years. After 70 closed September to November 2024, 450 more will close in 2025, the company says.

More Walgreens locations have closed or are closing — including one in Florida — as part of the company's plans to shutter more than 1,000 stores. Walgreens announced in 2024 it would be closing about 1,200 stores across the U.S. as it struggles with slumping consumer spending.
