Ballard Food Bank works the same as a grocery store: browse the shelves and choose items you need, such as meat and vegetables, hygiene items, and pet food. We also continue to offer no-cook bags and groceries.

Volunteers are the heart of Ballard Food Bank. Every month more than 500 volunteers donate 3,700+ hours of service. They recover and sort food, stock shelves, and help clients shop.

Masks are optional, though recommended, at the food bank. Guests can eat inside at the Café and Lobby area. Please do not eat or drink in the Community Market or Resource Hub.

Ballard Food Bank's mission is to bring food and hope to our neighbors because there can be enough for everyone. To achieve our mission, we provide access to nutritious foods and services that support self-sufficiency and we advocate for food equity and justice.
