Jung's Donuts/Carl's Body Shop, Wayne 1959 Jung's Donuts was located at 1203 Wayne Avenue. Farther down is Carl's Body Shop, which was, and still is, located at 1120 Wayne Avenue.

Jan 11, 2012 · Henry's Bakery in the 500 block of Salem Ave. (near North Ave.) had the best cream-filled donuts. This was a must-stop location before and after delivering Sunday morning papers. Oct 22, 2008 · Other long closed places are the Frisch's and Ponderosa at the corner of Main and Nottingham, the Dunkin' Donuts and Pizza Hut which are now payday advance places and of course, Shearers (my favorite ice cream place). Dayton Band moved further north on Main but it's now closed also.

Oct 27, 2014 · I remember the Donuts that had chocolate, vanilla and strawberry icing. You could smell them in the fryer when you walked in the place. Of course the ice cream and shakes were to die for, and I remember the Jukebox that sat in the middle of the store facing Patterson road.
