The City of West Branch asks that City residents help keep our City looking nice by keeping your lawn mowed. Growth of 6” or greater is prohibited under Section 153.08 of the City of West Branch Code of Ordinances.

The City of West Branch is classified as a Charter City. This form of municipal government has a City Manager that oversees daily operations, but is actually governed by the City Council.

WEST BRANCH RECYCLING CENTER HOURS OF OPERATION: Tuesdays 2pm - 6pm & Saturdays 9am - 1pm You must present your recycling card each time you use the facility. Individuals without cards will be denied. The Recycling Center is open to the following areas:
