Now I am playing cult of the lamb at 100+ fps 900p at 18w. I so wanted to play pizza tower at 120 but I think the game only can play at 60. I would say most of the indies and AAA games from 2014 and before you can probably play at 120 depends on the settings.

As for ULMB, all that's needed is a monitor that can do it, turn ULMB on in Nvidia control panel, set the refresh rate to 85-120hz, and i turn on Vsync in games.

All games show 4K, HDR if the game is HDR, but all 60 p. It appears all current games today are 60 p, even Forza 7. I think in E3 2019 they announce a few games capable of 120 p.

Mar 7, 2024 · Depends a lot on the type of game you are playing. 60FPS can certainly be fine for RPGs and other story driven games. Turn based games and 3rd person/isometric type games as well. For action based games like first person shooters it makes a big difference in accuracy and response times jumping up to 100+ FPS.

Same thing here, some games are simpler to run and can run at 120 fps on Xbox while maintaining a high resolution, and some need too much power for the Xbox to be able to do that, so something has to be reduced.

There are enough videos/benchmarks about pascals 120Hz mode and it's basically for 2 seconds till the phone lock back to 60Hz and stays there. External cooler can help a little, but it will be still bad experience.
