A Miata on good winter tires is not only very fun but also very capable. We have a Subaru Crosstrek and a Honda Ridgeline both of those cars are almost idiot proof in the snow but the Miata in the right hands is almost as capable and way more fun.

For a miata diehard, the best combination would be a beater daily miata, show car stock miata, heavily modified miata whether it’s turboed or drivetrain swapped and a part car miata.

I'm looking to upgrade my car situation and I'm torn: Do I sell my '06 AWD SUV and NA Miata to get a fun all-year car like the Focus RS or the Golf R? Or do I keep the SUV for winter duties, sell the NA Miata, and hop in a new 2016 ND Miata (either Club or GT)? I'm curious to know what everyone else ...
