Does the stomach turn pink/red? maybe because one frog starts to be hyper, it exited the other one, so the other one bites the hyper one (it happens 2-3 times a years, quickly, with no consequence). Maybe the "fight" turned to be almost deadly this time?

May 3, 2013 · Re: Budgett frog sick Thanks any help will do, I feed her every week, nightcrawlers, dubai roaches, tuffies. I vary the meals. Use forceps, she usually eats from them. Aestivate her during the winter months, done it twice successfully, water is kept at 78 degrees. Thought she was dead but blinked when I put my finger torwards her eye.

I've browsed through and purchased many of these horned frog books and the info is hardly enough. The land area isn't neccesary as long as you brumate them once a year.
