Origins, also known as Excavation Site 64 and Dig Site, is a Zombies map included in the Apocalypse downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops II released on August 27, 2013, for the Xbox 360 and on September 26, 2013, for the PlayStation 3 and PC. It is the seventeenth Zombies level to be released, and the first to feature the Primis crew.

Origins is the new Zombies Map available in the Apocalypse DLC Pack. It takes players back to the origins of the entire zombies story.

As you're probably aware, the main Easter Egg in Origins is called Little Lost Girl and it requires you to free Samantha who is trapped somewhere but we don't know where or how. You'll need to build all of the elemental staffs and crack a sequence of cryptic puzzles to progress.

Three Giant Robots roam Origins, walking overhead and killing players that get in their path. The Robots are German and have the names of Freya, Odin, and Thor, named after three gods in the Norse Mythology. It is possible for a player to enter the inside of a Robot by shooting at the lights on the undersides of their feet.
