It’s hard to nail down Cotton’s age but if we the actors ages Cotton would be like 27 or 28 during Scream 1 so Sidney’s mom is definitely older, probably at least 45 based on what we know of the timeline. And she had many affairs, most of the blame goes on her. I really don't agree.

Dec 13, 2022 · Honestly, everything from "Scream 3" should be retconned out of official continuity. Cotton continuing as an attention seeker could have served as a great contrast to Gale becoming less crass about those things as the series went on.

I think that Cotton’s arc is one of the best parts of Scream 2. Even though by this movie, Sid knows he didn’t end up being her mom’s killer, there’s no way that she can just make amends and forgive/say sorry to Cotton, I mean the dude still slept with her mom and was kinda sorta a cog in the machine even if he didn’t kill her.

His Scream 2 look was superior to his Scream 1 look (sounds really superficial but the topic is what it is) Cotton was a man among boys - literally Mickey was your typical Kevin Smith off-kilter character - reminds me of Brody in some ways from Mall Rats.

Jul 14, 2023 · In Scream 2, that was the only film to not have a phone call in the opening. They used Omar Epps' photo as the reference to Scream 2, and he was in the opening. It was a bit confusing to me at first, but I remembered Casey = Scream 1, Cotton = Scream 3, Jennie = Scream 4, Tara = Scream 5, and Laura = Scream 6.

Jan 3, 2023 · well you’re forgetting the most important thing: she’s smart af. she figured something didn’t add up, and like she told sidney, cotton’s version never changed and there was enough evidence for her to start her own investigation by writing the book, and if it was actually proved his innocence, she was going to get lots of recognition (her main point) so it was win/win
