Debarment is the most serious compliance sanction and is generally imposed for a three-year period. However, debarment can be imposed for a longer period of time, if the Debarring Official determines this action is necessary to protect the public interest.

The forms provide a contractual agreement for the services to be provided by the A/E and establishes responsibilities of both parties pursuant to the contract. The regulatory authority is 24 CFR 85.36.
