Jan 27, 2021 · My faourite Loadout with the hand crossbow is to pair it with a nagant precision deadeye...i also prefer the normal nagant precision over the Vandal: It has a little less range and damage but has a faster fire rate and not the awful sway of the vandal.

Hand crossbow is deadly on it's own. One of my favorite CQC weapons. It's basically a silenced Romero with slugs that you can fire accurately from the hip. If I'm doing the whole "use crouch walk to sneak up on someone camping" thing there's no other weapon I would rather have.

Aug 16, 2022 · If you are going for a purely PVE stealth loadout, Suppressed Vetterli + Hand Crossbow w/ Poison + Chaos is a good setup. You can easily take out any monster quietly and can cause some chaos amidst enemy hunters, often getting them into fights.

Oct 12, 2024 · Ranged revive doesn't work unless the body is behind cover. If it's in the open, it dies. If it is behind the enemy, then you die while trying to do it, even with a hand crossbow bolt. The range will be better than necro, but it still won't work most of the time.

Sep 5, 2019 · Playing crossbows a lot now and classic crossbow proves a lot better due to arrow speed, dropoff and usability for monster killing. What sucks are hand versions and explosive one which is just for memes since not even a body hit kills.
