The lake reflects a wooded shoreline with cliffs up to 50 feet high, a swimming beach and wetlands that are home to a variety of wildlife. The park's 2,200 acres include several picnic areas, wooded campsites, summer rentals and a cabin for people with disabilities.

Mirror Lake State Park has 151 family campsites in three separate campgrounds with seven group sites. The campgrounds are predominantly forested, with beautiful pines and oaks making up most of the woods. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table, and most have a sand tent pad.

Mirror Lake State Park is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. year-round. A vehicle admission sticker is required. Camping rates vary and are based on residency, campsite type and season.
